SEVEN SAMURAI: OPENING SHOT STUDY
This opening shot is SO CLEAR! It sums up the entire premise of the story in about a minute. It's clear, it's dramatic and entertaining! So I tried to study the shot selection and see why it works.

SEVEN SAMURAI STUDY
One of my all time favorite movies! Just doing some composition studies.
And then also did a few doodles of random figures (no ref). Quite horrendous yikes....I had a quick look back at my drawings and I definitely drew way better 3 years ago when I was doing a hell of a load of figure drawing and life drawing. Don't slack off folks because ability does get affected :/
