Sketching away part 6

Daily Sketch #5

Some people ask me if I draw characters I know, but mostly I don't. I just draw random characters. Whatever comes up really. I do usually draw better if I draw a character I know because then I can just focus on the pose. But again this is all just for fun! Here's todays' sketch..I didn't have anything in mind, but it reminds me of Jeane Grey...

Sketching away

There's something cool about doing a sketch every day..there's aswell something depressing about it though. It seems like every day I drew less good :( Haha. Anyway todays' drawing all for you!

SLAM: sketch #3

Keeping the ball rolling:

SLAM : Skin sketch

Trying to combine drawing and working again..,the last two months I've really just been working and in my spare time either watch something on Netflix or play a game. But I've got to find a good balance between both. Art is something I need as much as food. So tonight I drew "Skin" from my new comic/animated project. I changed the color palet a slight bit, and drew the hair in an S shape as suggested by my animator buddy Simon (from BIG Illustrations).

Just for fun, a sketch to kick the new week off:

Good old fashioned sketchbook drawing

It's been a while since I drew on paper, so just a random sketch really. Coloured in Photoshop for practice.
