Ponyo : Scene study 1

 Wanted to go back to some scene studies, even if it's 15 minutes a day. It's a nice relaxing way to start the day by looking at some work you admire. 

Standard setting up of a new location, although it is interesting to start with a topdown shot, which shows the overall geography, a bit like a map.

Then at character height for parking the car and getting out. 

The next shot is kind of interesting again, there's a lot going on, and as a viewer I think you'll only catch 1 thing, but this is because these actions are not really important to pay attention to, people arriving and Lisa entering the building. So that's why a wide here is quite good, keep the mediums and close ups for important things we need to pay attention.
