The COATHANGERS : T Shirt Design

This has got the be one of the most favorite things I got to do as an artist. Atlanta Punk band the Coathangers asked me to draw a t shirt design to go with their current Euro Tour to promote the release of their first LIVE album.

We got to see the Merch at their first gig for the tour at the Hyde Park Book Club in Leeds:

Ever walk into a gig to see your designs hanging on the walls? I haven't, it's pretty awesome :P

And of course the highlight was the gig itself! My favorite live band hands down!

The COATHANGERS FINISHED

So, here's as much as I could finish in 2 sittings. I redrew the pose for Julia from the coathangers in front. Jodie suggested I stick to a monochrome colorpalette like Robert Valley. Didn't pull it off that successfully :P Hopefully next time I start these things a bit earlier :P

There's a drawing theme at work, so figured I would give it a go. This was my favorite gig in Manchester so far with the Coathangers.

Added in the BG elements and looked boring again :( Maybe the colors will tie it together but I doubt it :P

Pencil Mileage

It feels like years since I last drew something more than a scribble, here's a little idea I had to celebrate the fact that the show we've been working on is going to air on Monday. The cute girl crucified is Nella the Princess knight in a Dave- makeover.

Random doodle at work, cleaned up at home for fun. I don't even know myself what's going on in this. Squashed into a tight space with loads of bunnies :D

Wake up And Boogey Collab

This is a collab with Jodie, who drew this sketch of 2 phone alarms going off in the morning at the same time, like they're having their own little orchestra. I cleaned it up and colored it.

Final Fantasy XII - Fran

The lack of drawing as of late has sparked the desire to draw more characters again..but instead of doing quick ones I want to try and do some more finished sketches..I even tried to include a background! :D
